Well kids, are we having fun yet?
Our last meeting was at Derald’s shop, and attended by a dozen folks.
David Damon provided a demonstration of the shallow plate/bowls that were
painted with a spinning technique. He also demonstrated using a wheel to engrave tooling. There was a show and tell of various pieces including bowls and plates and a three leg stool. We had fun with a raffle, and Wayne brought some plumbs and eggplants to share. A few also paid their annual dues.
Our next meeting will be at Russ’ shop on Estel Court, about half a mile up Simpson Lane on Sunday August 12th at 2:30. David Yager is visiting from Mexico and will be doing a demonstration regarding infused wood, and I think we can all benefit from this.
