Safe Passage Family Resource Center received a visit recently from Russ McAnulty, co-president of the Mendocino Woodturners Guild. This talented group of craftsmen and women get together each month to exchange ideas to aid in the creation of beautiful pieces using a lathe.
Mendocino Woodturners Guild donated items to the Safe Passage Silent Auction
Russ asked if their group could help out Safe Passage in some way, and the timing was perfect. Safe Passage has a dine-out fundraiser planned for Wednesday, March 20 at the MacCallum House in Mendocino, which includes a silent auction (details).
These one-of-a-kind pieces are on display through March 20 in the lobby of the Mendo Lake Credit Union on Main Street in Fort Bragg. You are encouraged to stop in to see and bid on the lovely work of the very talented — and generous — Mendocino Coast Woodturners Guild. With their help, Safe Passage will continue to “strengthen our community by strengthening the families that live here.”
